Bikkembergs was founded by Dirk Bikkembergs, one of the renowned "Antwerp Six" – a group of avant-garde fashion designers who graduated from the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts in Antwerp. Dirk Bikkembergs pioneered the fusion of sports and fashion, creating a strong connection with the football world. The brand was the first to host fashion shows at iconic football stadiums in Milan and Barcelona. It also became the official designer for Italy’s Inter football team, as well as Spain’s Malaga and the Slovenian National Team. In 2018, Bikkembergs was chosen as the official formalwear partner for the Russian Football Union.
